Groovz Audio needed a launch video for their new wireless earbuds that would highlight both the product’s standout features and its wide range of color options—key differentiators in a crowded market. The biggest challenge? The entire project had to be completed in under a week.
With virtually no time for a traditional approval or revision cycle, I built the project around speed and flexibility. Starting with only a CAD model of the earbuds, I recreated the product in Cinema 4D, developing high-quality 3D renders and multiple color variants. After sketching a streamlined storyboard, I prioritized the 3D animation first, rendering each sequence overnight with alpha channels (transparent backgrounds).
Rendering the 3D elements separately gave me the freedom to complete the backgrounds, typography, and motion graphics in After Effects, where iterations could be made much more quickly. This workflow dramatically reduced turnaround time, minimized rendering bottlenecks, and made it possible to accommodate last-minute creative adjustments without re-rendering the entire project.
The result was a polished product launch video delivered on an aggressive deadline, while still maintaining a premium visual aesthetic.
